Navan - Travel
Navan is a business travel and expense management platform that helps companies book, manage, and track employee travel and spending in one unified system. My team and I contributed to redesigning the web experience for both business and personal travel on Navan.

Problem
Before rebranding to Navan, TripActions' experience felt heavily centered around travel booking, making it difficult for users to understand the broader value of the platform as new financial and expense products were introduced. As the ecosystem expanded, the visual language and product experience began to feel fragmented across different tools and touchpoints. The brand and interface lacked the flexibility and consistency needed to support a more scalable, enterprise-level platform experience. This created a disconnect between how advanced the product had become and how users perceived it.

Rebranding
Navan rebranded from TripActions because the product experience had expanded far beyond travel booking, but the brand and visual system still reflected a narrower, travel-focused identity. As new expense, payment, and financial tools were introduced, the experience began to feel fragmented across products and touchpoints. The rebrand created a more cohesive and scalable design language that better unified the ecosystem and aligned with a modern, technology-driven platform experience. It also helped shift user perception from a transactional travel tool to a smarter, enterprise-ready operating platform.







Outcome
The redesign contributed to a more cohesive and intuitive experience, helping drive higher user adoption, improved booking compliance, and stronger overall customer satisfaction.
